The best gift you can give yourself in January.

If it took you 7 years to gain some extra weight it will take longer than 7 days to lose it.

If it took you 24 months to go into debt it will take longer than 24 days to get out of it.

If it took you 10 years to fill your garage with clutter, it will take you longer than 10 minutes to clean it.

This January, when it takes too long to accomplish your resolutions, make sure you give yourself something important – time.

Slow results are still results.

Slow progress is still progress.

Slow change is still change.

Don’t beat yourself up when the clock or calendar refuses to change fast enough for you.

Great things take great time.

Because of the Start Experiment, I’ve been writing my true life story. It’s been 2.5 years and I’m almost ready to publish #soon. Don’t give up. It’s hard but it’s worth it!

Q: How do you eat an elephant?

A: One bite at a time.

Yep! 🙂 Sometimes things take longer than planned, but as long as they still happen, it’s all good!

I’m still working on my “30 Days of Hustle” projects from this past summer! One of them was to earn my black belt in karate (something I’ve obviously been working on for many years, but the past few months I was focusing on directly preparing for my test). I wanted to be there by the end of the year, but didn’t quite make it in that short of a time frame. HOWEVER, my testing date is finally set! End of February, and I couldn’t be more excited! 🙂
