Calendar

September is almost in the books.

Though it’s hard to believe, fall is here and 2014 is quickly slipping through our fingers. In times like this, fear is going to get loud and tell you one big lie:

“It’s too late to do something meaningful this year.”

The year feels done, as if there’s absolutely no time left. Best to leave our dreams and hustle until January. We should just wait for 2015 to get here since there’s so little time left in 2014.

Nonsense.

I say the opposite.

I say it’s time to rally.

The year is not over. It’s not even close to over. We still have 25% left! Sure, we’ve burned through almost 75% but that’s not the same as 100%. Imagine if you came up with a 75 on a test and told your parents, “Don’t worry mom and dad, that’s almost 100!” How would the rest of that conversation go for you?

The year isn’t over.

It’s not too late.

It’s time to rally!

Get out the goals you made last January. If you didn’t make any, just get out a blank piece of paper. I don’t care if you failed every attempt at working on a dream the first 9 months of 2014. Those months are done. Those are in the past. You and I have a lot of year left.

Don’t quit just because the year feels over. It’s not time to give up, it’s time to rally!

Question:
What’s one thing you are going to rally on the rest of the year?
